Cyprus Property sales rose significantly in February 2016 compared to the same period last year according to official statistics published by the Department of Lands and Surveys.
In February 2016, a total of 501 sales contracts of Cyprus commercial and residential properties were deposited at Cyprus Land Registry offices. This was the highest monthly figure recorded since May 2014 (551 sales contracts deposited). Limassol lead the way with an 85% increase, followed by Nicosia (76%), Larnaca (52%), Famagusta (30%) and Paphos (18%).
This significant surge in demand for Cyprus Property may be attributed to an improving economic climate and consumer confidence.
