Real estate crowdfunding started late in Europe but it is booming now. Real Estate Crowdfunding is growing significantly and is forecasted to surpass venture capital funding in 2016 according to a recent report. It is more than doubling, every year according to Forbes. In 2015, $34.4 billion, was raised across the different crowdfunding models that include equity and Peer to Peer lending.

While it has attained a significant level of growth in North America with the recent development from SEC that released the final rules on equity crowdfunding, Europe is dubbed as the third largest market valued at $3.26 billion; Asia was second at $3.4 billion.
